Support Resources

Our support resources are available for students, faculty, and staff who may need to request assistance, address issues of concern, or learn about opportunities for dialogue.

Campus community support

Supports religious and spiritual diversity, identity, and well-being through programs, resources, dialogue, and cooperation.

Serves as a liaison between students and the UW, providing resources to support campus life, academic success, and personal growth.

Advises students on academic and career matters, supports instructors, and helps build meaningful relationships of service and partnership with communities on campus and beyond.

Offers confidential consultation services for employees and their families including personal counseling, management consultation, grief and critical incident response, and more.

Provides legal advice, guidance, representation, outreach and training on legal matters, and answers to frequently asked questions.

Provides faculty and staff with a safe and impartial place to seek guidance on workplace issues, explore complaints, and consider options to address concerns.

Helps faculty and staff support and respond to students experiencing personal challenges, mental and physical issues, misconduct, and more.

Offers no-cost mental health services for students including counseling, crisis support, survivor services, psychiatric services, and more. Talk to a counselor now.

Public safety

Report discrimination, harassment, and bias incidents, and find support services offered to students.

Refer a student in need of support or share a concern with the Office of Student Assistance and Support. Students can report general issues or specific incidents, including misconduct, sexual assault, hazing, and more.

Learn about UW–Madison’s full-service law enforcement agency, dedicated to fostering a safe campus environment for all students, faculty, and staff. To file a police report, speak with an officer, share a complaint, or for general inquiries, contact UWPD. For emergencies, please call 911.
